Mr.Kadar Muhumed Badal

Message from the Director of Finance and Logistics Directorate

Dear Colleagues and Stakeholders,

In our mission to safeguard public health and regulatory integrity, sound financial management and efficient logistics are indispensable. As the Director of Finance and Logistics, I am proud to lead efforts that ensure our resources are allocated wisely, transparently, and in alignment with national priorities.

Our Directorate is committed to strengthening financial accountability through robust planning, timely reporting, and strict adherence to public procurement laws. We are modernizing our systems to improve budget execution, enhance internal controls, and support evidence-based decision-making.

On the logistics front, we are optimizing supply chains to ensure that essential equipment, medicines, and inspection tools reach the right places at the right time. We are embracing digital inventory systems, improving fleet management, and streamlining procurement to reduce delays and waste.

We recognize that every birr spent and every item delivered contributes to the health and safety of our communities. That is why we are investing in capacity building, performance monitoring, and interdepartmental coordination to ensure that our operations are not only efficient—but impactful.

I invite all teams and partners to collaborate with us in building a finance and logistics system that is transparent, responsive, and resilient. Together, we can ensure that our institution remains a trusted steward of public resources and a reliable engine of service delivery.

Respectfully,

Kader mahamed badel
